Committed to revitalizing French know-how, Samaya has inaugurated 100% "Made In France" production lines at its workshop in Annecy, in the heart of the French Alps.
Ghislain Pipers, CEO of Samaya and former top-level rock-climbing athlete, was introduced to climbing at an early age by his parents. From an early age, top-level sport shaped his mindset and lifestyle. His passion for the sport led him to devote every second of his time to a clearly defined goal: sporting performance. Rigor, organization and relentlessness became his daily watchwords. Today, he brings the same intensity and passion to his work, and in particular to the development of CLIMBING equipment, which includes Samaya BELAY20, Samaya CHALK _001 and Samaya WALLSEAT_001.

Handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail, every Samaya BELAY20 is a testament to our commitment to durable, long-lasting equipment.
The chalk bag, an essential accessory for every climber, is also part of our "Made in France" approach. Our Samaya CHALK_001 is eco-designed using leftover materials from tent manufacturing. Our workshop ensures that every detail, from the fabric to the drawstring, meets the triple requirement of quality, durability and performance.
The Samaya WALLSEAT_001, our harness made of Dyneema®, is assembled entirely by hand in our workshop. Every seam, every finish and every detail reflects our expertise and dedication to designing equipment that climbers can rely on during technical and vertical ascents. At just 55 grams, the Samaya WALLSEAT_001 offers climbers the possibility of resting in complete serenity to face the next pitches with renewed energy.
