Developed in collaboration with Samaya athletes, the ASSAUT2 ULTRA has been designed to meet the demands of mountaineering. Its single-wall Dyneema_X™ design offers weather protection (20,000 mm) and ventilation (40,000 g/m²/24h) far superior to market standards. Its external sleeves provide greater mechanical strength as well as simplified assembly in the wind.

Biosourced Dyneema

Biosourced Dyneema® is a more sustainable version of conventional Dyneema®, manufactured from renewable raw materials, mainly forest industry residues, rather than fossil resources.

This material is based on a production process in which ethylene, the key ingredient in Dyneema® , is obtained from plant biomass instead of petroleum. This approach significantly reduces the carbon footprint while maintaining the outstanding performance of conventional Dyneema®: extreme tensile strength, lightness, waterproofing and durability.

Certified ISCC (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification), biosourced Dyneema® is part of acircular economy approachand CO₂ emissions reduction, offering a more responsible alternative without compromising on performance.

Dyneema® biosourcé

Le Dyneema® biosourcé est une version plus durable du Dyneema® classique, fabriquée à partir de matières premières renouvelables, principalement issues de résidus de l’industrie forestière, plutôt que de ressources fossiles.

Ce matériau repose sur un processus de production où l’éthylène, ingrédient clé du Dyneema®, est obtenu à partir de biomasse végétale au lieu de pétrole. Cette approche réduit considérablement l’empreinte carbone tout en maintenant les performances exceptionnelles du Dyneema® conventionnel : résistance extrême à la traction, légèreté, imperméabilité et durabilité.

Dyneema_X™

Samaya adapts its composites according to use. Dyneema_X TM combines Dyneema® filaments with an ePTFE membrane, offering waterproofness (20,000 mm), breathability (40,000 g/m²/24h) and lightness. The microporous structure of ePTFE evacuates vapor while blocking water, while Dyneema® ensures high mechanical strength and low water absorption.

POLES

Carbon_X™

Samaya has developedCarbon_X™ poles to offer a solution specifically suited to ultra-light tents. Designed entirely in carbon, both in sections and junctions, they avoid the stresses associated with assembling different materials. Their draped carbon-fiber construction reduces the risk of splinters in the event of breakage, and facilitates repairs in the field. Finally, the contrast between the red color of the poles and the black of the joints makes it easy to visually check that they fit together correctly, reducing the risk of breakage during use.

TENT FLOOR

Dyneema Composite Fabric (DCF)

Samaya chose Dyneema® Composite Fabric for its tent floors because of its exceptional properties. This laminated textile, composed of 90°-crossed UHMWPE fiber filaments and two layers of Mylar®, offers very high mechanical strength and limits tearing in the event of perforation. In addition to its performance, this material is easily repairable, prolonging the life of Samaya products.

PAROIS DE LA TENTE

Dyneema_X™

Samaya adapte ses composites selon l’usage. Le Dyneema_X TM associe des filaments de Dyneema® et une membrane ePTFE, offrant imperméabilité (20 000 mm), respirabilité (40 000 g/m²/24h) et légèreté. La structure microporeuse de l’ePTFE évacue la vapeur tout en bloquant l’eau, tandis que le Dyneema® assure une grande résistance mécanique et une faible absorption d’eau.

ARCEAUX

Carbon_X™

Samaya a développé les arceaux Carbon_X™ pour proposer une solution spécifiquement adaptée aux tentes ultra-légères. Entièrement conçus en carbone, aussi bien au niveau des sections que des jonctions, ils évitent les contraintes liées à l’assemblage de matériaux différents. Leur construction en fibres de carbone drapées réduit le risque d’échardes en cas de rupture et facilite les réparations sur le terrain. Enfin, le contraste entre la couleur rouge des arceaux et le noir des jonctions permet de vérifier visuellement leur bon emboîtement, réduisant ainsi le risque de casse à l’usage.

SOL DE LA TENTE

Dyneema Composite Fabric (DCF)

Samaya a choisi le Dyneema® Composite Fabric pour le sol de ses tentes en raison de ses propriétés exceptionnelles. Ce textile laminé, composé de filaments de fibre UHMWPE croisés à 90° et de deux couches de Mylar®, offre une résistance mécanique très élevée et limite la déchirure en cas de perforation. En plus de ses performances, ce matériau est facilement réparable, prolongeant ainsi la durée de vie des produits Samaya.
