Samaya s ambition is to help create the conditions for the elevation of the spirit. This begins with the working environment for its team, on a 1,000 m² site close to Lake Annecy.

At Samaya High Camp, Samaya brings together large, open, modern offices, a showroom, a prototyping and production workshop, a research area with a laboratory and test benches, and a young, dynamic team always ready for a trip to the mountains or a friendly get-together!

THE POSITION TO BE FILLED

As Product Development Manager, you will be at the heart of innovation and product strategy at Samaya. You will be responsible for designing and developing technical products of excellence, in collaboration with our internal and external partners. You will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from design to market launch, ensuring alignment with brand strategy, performance and sustainability requirements. • Manage the development of Samaya products, from ideation to industrialization.
• Conduct needs analyses, market studies and benchmarks to ensure the relevance of innovations.
• Design and develop products integrating the CSR vision (design, 2D & 3D CAD, simulation, eBOM, prototyping).
• Manage relations with suppliers, factory and partners (tech pack, BOM, negotiation, development follow-up).
• Define, organize and supervise laboratory and field tests, then analyze the results to validate product performance.
• Implement and monitor quality controls to ensure production compliance.
• Supervise industrialization and optimization of manufacturing processes.
• Analyze market feedback and make continuous product improvements.
• Support the workshop in the transition to production and the resolution of technical issues.

 

THE PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Graduate in engineering, product design or textiles (Bac+5).
• Passionate about outdoor sports, with a very good knowledge of the outdoor and textile industry (product design, textile production, technical materials, pattern-making).
• Proven experience in technical product development (textiles, outdoor equipment, innovative materials).
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Adobe Suite, 3D Experience platform, Solidworks, Catia, etc.).
• Experience in project management and collaboration with the various players involved in product development.
• Product design and sewing skills are a plus.
• Organized, rigorous and proactive.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic and demanding environment.
• Professional English required.
