Dyneema® composite was chosen by Samaya for the flooring of ALPINE range tents and assault tents because of its exceptional properties. Dyneema® is a laminated textile made up of monofilaments of UHMWPE fiber and two layers of Mylar®.
Dyneema® filaments superimposed at 90° to one another provide the fabric's mechanical qualities, and enable it to contain tearing in the event of perforation. Two sheets of Mylar® hold the fabric together, providing excellent abrasion resistance and an unprecedented 20,000 mm of waterproofing. In addition to its performance, this material is easily repairable, extending the life of Samaya products.

Every tent designed by Samaya is the key to a unique and powerful experience of (re)connecting with nature. With no desire to compromise between comfort, lightness and performance, Samaya adapts these three components to the needs of each practice, offering you top-of-the-range products with finishes worthy of haute couture.
Samaya develops its tents in line with usage, offering ultra-functional tools. On a bivouac, the camp is set up in the evening and dismantled in the early hours of the morning. Not having to do more than three things to set up your tent makes all the difference. Adjusters on each tent enable you to set them up without any special effort, and then perfectly tension the fabric for optimum performance and comfort. What's more, the poles insert on the outside of the fabric means you can pitch your tent in the rain or snow without ever risking getting the inside wet.
Once the tent is dismantled, the poles are folded into their own Dyneema® bag and the fabric is stuffed in a second compression bag. You won't waste any time folding your tent and the two bags make the tent easy to distribute and store in your bags.
Samaya supplies a repair kit with every tent. This will enable you to carry out any minor repairs yourself, greatly extending the life of your Samaya.
